The Nightmare is Real...

PETCOCK is an all-original power trio based in Springfield, Illinois. Taking their name from the fuel valve on a motorcycle, VAIN JAYNE (vocals + bass), MICHAEL DEVIOUS (guitar), and JOHN FINDLEY (drums) smash out a high-energy stage show that Rolling Stone Magazine music writer Debbie Sprague calls, "Totally hot!"

PETCOCK sounds like mostly feedback-laced stoner heavy metal played with punk rock intensity and aggressive female vocals. The band delivers a dynamic set of explosive rockers tempered by mournful dirges. Personal influences include early hardcore punk rock, classic heavy metal, and '80s-'90s grunge, noise, and sludge. Lazy Hawk Promotions compare them to a, "Badass punk [version of] Hole."
